We Know The Struggle, Because We're In It Too

We’re attractions owners, not consultants. We’re in the trenches every day, managing staff, running ads, and navigating slow seasons, and we use that firsthand experience to build marketing systems that actually work.

Our journey started when we opened our first escape room and realized that traditional marketing agencies didn’t understand the unique challenges of the attractions industry. They didn’t know about the seasonal fluctuations, the importance of group bookings, or how to turn a one-time visitor into a loyal fan.

So we built our own marketing playbook, testing strategies in our own venues, tracking what worked, and refining our approach until we cracked the code. Today, we’ve expanded to multiple attractions in different states and now share our proven systems with fellow attractions owners across the country.

2014

The First Escape Room Opens

We built our first escape room. Everything that could go wrong did: luck of experience, bad contractors, plumbing disasters, city red-tags and chaos. We survived, we opened, and we learned the lesson that changed our careers: Building an attraction is one job. Filling it is another.

2015

The Grind

Learning Marketing the Hard Way We experimented endlessly:

Rack cards in hotels
Door-to-door promotions

Early Google Ads Some things worked. Most didn’t.

2017

The Marketing Engine Awakens

We hired agencies, got burned by long-term contracts, fought a lawsuit, and realized: If we wanted results, we had to understand marketing ourselves. We mastered SEO, UTM attribution, ads, copywriting, CRM, and systems.

2020

The Viral TikTok That Changed Everything

A local TikTok creator visited our newly opened Spin Art Nation location, filmed her experience, and posted it. It exploded with nearly a million views. We sold out for weeks. That moment changed how we saw marketing forever: Authentic content beats traditional advertising every time. This was the birth of influencer-first marketing in attractions.

Blue Apple Marketing Is Born

At first, we helped friends and a few referrals. Soon, our strategies outperformed traditional agencies.
